Purpose
Build practical execution disciplines that translate strategic intent into measurable delivery, accountability and sustained progress.
Primary Outcome : Clear priorities, ownership, accountability and disciplined execution drive delivery.
Duration : Two Days

DAY 01
Why Execution Fails
09:00–10:30
The Execution Audit
Exercise : Why Don’t We Finish Things?

Analyse recent initiatives: what succeeded, stalled or changed? Identify patterns around ownership, priorities, resources and follow- through.

Output : The organisation’s Execution Failure Profile.
10:45–12:30
The Vital Few
Exercise : The Kill List

Put every current initiative on the wall. Ask: “If we could only do five things, what would they be?”
Categorise the rest as stop, pause, delegate or continue.
13:30–15:00
Outcome Design
Exercise : Activity → Outcome Conversion

Convert activities into measurable outcomes. For example, “launch a new programme” becomes a defined adoption or impact outcome.

Output : A set of measurable Transformation Outcomes.
15:15–17:00
The Accountability Conversation
Simulation : A transformation initiative is six weeks late. Practise the Avoider, the Aggressor and the Accountable Leader responses. Learn to hold people accountable without becoming punitive.
DAY 02
Building the Execution Engine
09:00–10:30
Leading Indicators
Exercise : Early Warning System

For each major outcome identify lag indicators and lead indicators that provide early evidence of likely success or failure.
10:45–12:30
The Transformation Review
Exercise : Run a Real Transformation Meeting

Use live initiatives. Practise focusing on outcomes, surfacing red flags, removing barriers and making decisions rather than conducting presentation theatre.

Output : A repeatable Transformation Review Format.
13:30–15:00
Removing Barriers
Exercise : Barrier Busting

Every leader brings one major obstacle. The group works to resolve as many as possible.

Rule : No discussion without a decision or next action.
15:15–17:00
Personal Accountability
Each participant identifies one thing they will deliver, one behaviour they will stop and one difficult conversation they will have. These commitments are reviewed before the next module.
